Medusa - Woman Scorned

Medusa is one of the many goddesses that have a lot of different stories, perspectives and archetypical attributes attached to her name. All will in some way focus on her mysterious appearance, hair of snakes and ability to petrify people with a single glance. This left her isolated and she has a deep sense of not being able to love or be loved, a deep hatred for men for seducing, assaulting and abandoning her and for women for punishing her for her assault and transforming her from a beautiful woman into a monster.
