Dissolve - Releasing Anger

Anger is one of the most difficult emotions for us to experience. We can have confusion over where it is coming from, regret at how it may play out in our interactions, fear of not being able to control it and in general a struggle to accept that it happens to all of us and we need to find a way to come to a place of being comfortable with it. While some of us are better at expressing, managing and releasing our anger than others, many are still unable to define where their anger comes from. Anger is often the result of a different emotion that is deeply buried for fear that acknowledging, experiencing or expressing that true emotion would be a danger to our sense of self and safety somehow. Often, anger stems from deep childhood pain that has not been explored or healed.

Anger is often seen in a very negative light by those exploring modern spirituality and often used as a sign of how much further you have to go on your journey or how committed you are to doing the work. The dismissal or denial of anger in the hope of moving toward a happier end goal can cause it’s own secondary wounding (and anger!) and delay growth and transformation further.

This blend draws on properties to support the user with explosive emotions and outbursts so that they are able to dissolve the overwhelm or potentially irrational responses, while still acknowledging their emotions and attempting to find clarity around what the deeper trigger for such a response is. Dissolving the stress around the emotions can allow space for assertive self expression versus aggressive and therefore can be helpful as support in situations that trigger feelings of anger or where you may be surrounded by those that you may find yourself feeling angry toward. For some, they direct their anger toward themselves which can be particularly damaging. This blend helps to redirect that fire to a more healthy expression. It can also be just as supportive for those that have pushed their emotions so far down that they are unable to access their emotions and want to bring them up in a way that will still allow them clarity and not bring on a state of overwhelm. Anger is not the enemy, but it is okay to need some support while navigating how it shows up for you and the underlying pain associated.
