Isis - Divine Mother

Isis was the Egyptian mother goddess. Isis has a complex and varied story with so many layers and connections that could never be done justice in a short blurb, but that is a part of the medicine she offers as we step into finding balance with all the hats we wear. 

Isis was known to love all, even those who treated her and her family badly. Isis was able to demonstrate a level of maturity and acceptance, practicing humility and understanding, while also being a fierce protector of her children. She spent time with the mortals tending the land, parenting the children and being a teacher and role model by walking alongside rather than ruling from above.Isis was also known and respected for her magical healing knowledge and held a special place in performing the rites for the dead and curing the sick, ultimately involved in transformation.
