When the lung meridian becomes unbalanced it can present in what may be considered obvious symptoms related to our breathing, or throat and sinuses. Emotionally it can present as an inability to let go, remain stuck in feelings of grief and guilt, and feel stuck, inflexible, bitter, powerless and intolerant. We may indulge in behaviours that may seem to serve as self preservation, but are actually inhibiting us from moving forward with confidence, integrity, positive thinking, and the ability to let go of what no longer serves us, as well as releasing old beliefs and habits.
